State of repair

In the mid-90’s the whole complex has been completely restored and modernised, and this process is continuing up to now to make the structure even more competitive and in step with the clients’ needs. The roof has been completely recovered, mainly with the use of original insulated tiles, the floor has been redone with an industrial brickwork, the windows are all made of cedar wood with double glazing, with the exception of the restaurant area where there are aluminium window frames. The basement was also redone with ventilated ceilings, has been provided with draining system for better rainwater pass through a long curb around the perimeter of the property.

Utilities

The structure “Il Pero” boasts almost total energy independence, thus, there were installed PV panels for 26 Kw, arranged the energy production to Enel company. The property also comprises 2 wells with a storage tank for 2,000 litres, much part of the water is heated thanks to the solar panels placed on the roofs of the buildings. In 2013, the innovative heating system with a highly efficient wood boiler was installed. In addition, there is also a classic LPG tank and a diesel generator for emergencies.
